Wrist & Sole is an independent publication of Wrist and Sole LLC. We write slowly, cite our sources, and correct ourselves in public.
Wrist & Sole covers the two purchases people regret most often for the wrong reasons: a watch that was never right for the wrist, a shoe that was never right for the foot. We read what the maker publishes - case diameter and lug-to-lug, water resistance, movement, strap width; last shape, construction, stack height, drop, upper and sole materials, warranty - and verified owner reviews.
We publish the date each figure was checked. When a maker does not publish a figure, the page says so rather than estimating.
We do not wear-test products and we do not claim to, and every page says so. Some links earn a commission; the write-up is finished before any link exists.
Who writes here
Content is written and edited by the Wrist & Sole editors. Where a page has a named author, that person is a real individual who is responsible for the piece. We do not publish under invented personas.
How we work
- Primary sources first. Vendor documentation, published pricing and changelogs, verified user reports. Marketing copy is not evidence.
- Published method. Our scoring and selection rules are on the editorial policy page, and they are applied before any commercial consideration.
- Dated claims. Prices and features change; our pages carry the date they were last checked.
- Corrections. If we got something wrong, email hello@wristandsole.com. Material corrections are noted on the page.
