How this site is made

A small team, AI for the legwork, humans for the judgement.

Wrist & Sole is built by a small independent team that uses AI tools every day. AI helps us read documentation, pricing histories and thousands of user reports faster than we could alone. It does not decide what we publish. Every verdict, score and recommendation is reviewed by a person who is accountable for it, and every claim must trace back to a source you can open.

We think that is the honest way to use AI in publishing: say so, keep humans responsible, and never let a model invent a test we did not run. Our full editorial policy, including what we will never do, is on the method page.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Do you wear the watches and shoes?

No, and every page says so. We read the maker’s spec sheet, size chart, warranty and returns policy, and quote verified owner reviews as owner reports.

Can you tell me if a shoe will fit?

No. We report the size and width range, the last where published, and the returns window so you can find out safely.

Do brands pay to be in the edit?

No. Some links earn a commission; the write-up is finished before any link exists and commission never moves a verdict.

How does Wrist & Sole make money?

Some links are affiliate links; if you buy through one the vendor pays us a commission at no cost to you. It never changes what we cover or how we rate it. Full disclosure.

Can I contact a person?

Yes: hello@wristandsole.com. Corrections with a source are answered first.

Wrist & Sole
About the publisher

Wrist & Sole is published by Wrist and Sole LLC, an independent company. Wrist & Sole covers the two purchases people regret most often for the wrong reasons: a watch that was never right for the wrist, a shoe that was never right for the foot. We read what the maker publishes - case diameter and lug-to-lug, water resistance, movement, strap width; last shape, construction, stack height, drop, upper and sole materials, warranty - and verified owner reviews.
